£15.49 - http://store.steampowered.com/app/45300/

thats so weird! i was just downstairs thinking about what it will be this week and i thought to myself how good it would be if they put wop on offer :D

I was thinking about this game today, thinking when it's reduced ill probably buy it. I have way too many games to play at the moment though so can't justify it.

Really good game and worth £15, by the time i get round to playing it though it will probably be £5!

Bought it at full price ages ago but hardly played it. Find it really hard to get the difficulty right, on arcade I storm through with ease and it's too easy. On realistic I never have enough energy and find myself stalling all the time. Mainly my lack of persistence though. On the simulation tutorial my instructor crashed every time I played the mission. Obviously too hard for him :D

Instead I bought Rise of Flight and trackir and play that a bit. Bargain price of about £12 for the game. I think that was a pricing error though based on an offer that expired, because you can choose to pay in €,$ or RUB on the site and the $ was half the price of the others. Rather lacking in single player (this is being worked on) and really needs a quad core to run at any decent level. It definitely has some flaws in comparison to WoP but I prefer it as a 'base' game... I always liked red baron though and it brings back memories... and I really like the physics* and flight model etc. It can be more frustrating due to the long load times combined with the fact that there's no respawning** but ultimately I think this leads to a more satisfying experience due to the self preservation instinct

end waffle...

*I really need to learn to not gently tap my enemies from behind when they slow down and break my prop off
**yay for crashing into a small bump in the ground on take off

Highly recommend this to anyone remotely into aircraft's, world war II or wants a game a little bit different. Good community, great devs it seems who are constantly churning out patches to add new content and fix issue's not that theres many with the game.

To top it all off it as a great single player and multilayer experience and offers some of the best visuals to performance ratio your find in a game, great to stick on for an hour and have a bladder but also as enough depth to hold you at the pc for a day if you have the free time to spare.

Anyone who as ever played a aircraft game and enjoyed it in any shape or form will easily get £15.49 worth out of it.

Wicked, impulse bought this as I need a break from BC2 and all my other FPS games (and I liked the demo). Should be fun with the 360 pad to relax back in my chair for once :p

Surely as it's Steam it can onle be used once....on your Steam account?

You can use your steam account on multiple machines, I have it on main pc as well as on netbook. Only a few games are actually installed on the netbook though :D

I was disappointed with the demo - I took my plane as high as it could go and dive bombed. Didn't get as much of a sound as I would've liked :(

So far my only gripe is the yuplay client, which is seriously crap. Otherwise very fun game. Tried to download the historical accuracy addon (adds swaztikas to luftwaffe planes) but seems to be a dead link. Anyone know where I can find it?

The offer tempted me to finally DL the demo. Five minutes later I'd bought it. :-)

Like others, I have far too little time, far too much software, and no need of something else in my Steam distraction list. But the demo re-awakened my interest in flight sims, and although I've only completed the training missions so far, I've probably had my money's worth.

The graphics are really impressive, and in TripleHead mode this is truly stunning. The first time I flew through a cloud I nearly grinned my face off. It's hardcore enough not to be too annoying for enthusiasts, and softcore enough to allow you to have fun.

I'm sure I'll find some flaws to take the edge off my enthusiasm... there;s always something annoying with flight sims. But so far, so good.

My dad bought this earlier and has been telling me all day how good it is lol. Hes an MW2 addict as well and its pryed him off that all day so must be pretty good!

Tired the demo, it looks good, runs good, but I don't like the flying and physics in it, got too much used ot BF1942 and BF2 flying, and GTA SA flying. :(.

For 15 quid I'd rather get 2 crates of lager.
