Not random, its almost exactly the same length of time, everytime -- large thread on the beta forums about it with people showing the same thing, some people stay on for 5 minutes, some 10 some 20 but they tend to consistently get disconnected after that. But yeah, you're playing then you notice its gone a bit quiet except for the ambience and everyones running on the spot, 10-20 seconds after that you're back at the menu

I was amazed how empty that Hypernia server was
It was actually quite fun for a bit having so few players and just messing around a bit

As said yesterday when that was posted, the vid mentions fov change but doesnt show it (no option for it), plus dice have said the fov change will be in a patch soon after launch, that vid makes it sound like its in the retail version on day one.
Either way, we're getting it

Im just wondering how much of a dent in fps it will make, the game can be a bit ropey at 1920x1200 when explosions are going off. Retails meant to be more optomised so hopefully it performs well.

Seeing more on your screen = more rendering going on = lower fps.
It really really really doesn't make that much of a difference. Bad Company 2 has third person kill cameras, third person vehicle cameras and aerial vehicles - an increased field of view doesn't even render anywhere near as much as those do.

When I click play it says "Video available soon". Why did they bother uploading it when you can't view it until tomorrow.
Weird it was working, showed the vehicles chugging along in some little slow mo sequences and an apache getting blown apart by a tank.
