im really enjoying this game so far ,my best game since uncharted 2.
Ive had one freeze so far on chapter 2 with the patch installed , i hope they sort these glitches out soon:(
 
Not had any glitches yet, although the tearing is a bit annoying.

Cannot believe people who say they cannot see it, it is in most scenes, to some extent, in some it is very minor, so it appears as slight judders when scenes move or pan, but in some scenes you actually see the tearing lines.

Yep, the patch is not for tearing, I believe. AFAIK the only way to fix things like tearing is to enable vsync (like in PC games).
Not actually sure what the patch fixes.

Edit: may have spoken to soon, might have just had my first problem as it seems to be stuck on the loading screen ,for what has been over a few minutes. XMB still works so not sure what to do.

Well the characters head is still moving around (the loading screens just show you a closeup of one of the main characters moving and a bit of text explaining controls) so it just seems normal except it has been on this screen for 5 minutes now!!! Just gonna reset the PS3 and hope it autosaved my level progress.

Edit: Quitting the game made consoles reset with 3 beeps.

I have had a issue with the audio in one of the scenes at the start i reloaded my save then all was fine , also notice a bit of tearing at certain parts but no lock ups as of yet :)
I notice in the demo when your the detective the wall textures did,nt load fully but in the final release i can see its fixed .
the set up i have is a strange one though hdmi to dvi hd fury non hdcp monitor 24 havent got a hd tv to check it on :(

Those loading screens are quite long :/ I thought my game had crashed but it was still loading .. Soon as you get the trophy sound it continues..hrmm maybe its smt to do with that.

Havent noticed any tearing so far.
 
graphics are exceptional esp the facials :)

Only drawbacks for me (apart from the loading) so far is the controls a little - everything else is top notch.

For ***** sake

I just installed the game and started to get into it, i did the shower and dressing then went downstairs...sat in a chair and the game has glitched.

It hasnt crashed, I can still open the menu and press L1 to move the camera, but thats it. Im stuck in the chair. I can't do anything.

What a ****ing joke. How the **** did this get past quality control?

Enjoying this so far, bit slow like Farenheit was, but good none the less.

Best installing screen on a game EVER though!!!

Oh and the burd it in is fineeee, dunno who is nicer, her or miranda in ME2 lol
 
i've only had one, that was with Jayden at the first murder scene, not had one since.

Ap[arently if you are getting crashes, you should delete the data file.

Yep that's where my crash has happened, began with the sound cutting out at the beginning of the level and then crashed completely when I was trying to leave. The loading screens are becoming a real bitch as well :(
