My SAAB

I thought you may be interested to see my new car. Its a 1999 SAAB 9-3 HOT Sport. It came with full SAAB/indy service history and appears to have been well looked after. With 95k on the clock the mileage isn't too bad either.

I'd like to bring it along to the next RR day

Any other 9-3 owners on OCUK?

Its a 2litre turbo with B204R engine, 200BHP.

The only thing that puts me off Saabs is the extremely dull instrument bin/dash area in general. Proper example of function over form, although that's not really a major issue!

I think newer Saabs are worse in terms of interior dullness, at least compared to other cars in the same class. They are good cars though, and I like the larger petrol turbo variants, especially some of the slightly insane 9000s that are out there.

I remember once i was with a friend and he had an xr2, he had music loud etc thinking he was the boy. We pulled up at lights next one of these, and there was a middle age man with his wife. My friend tried to nail it and got smoked. When we caught up the bloke was laughing so was his wife. My friend was so mad, ARR hahahah Classic.

Ahhh, the Saab 9000/9-3... the only car to actually suit 3 spoke wheels

I like the shape and the 3 doors, you don't see many about. Looks good in silver too.

Only dislike is the interior, ewww

Thanks, I was looking at a 9-5 near me as well, but then this one came up and I prefered 3 doors. Any pics of the 95?

The engines awful, the interior isn't great.... but I like the way it looks...
