T in the Park 2010

Anyone get tickets for this today?

. Or is everyone here more of a Glasto/Reading/Leeds person?

Had planned to go with 5 people, but only 2 of us bothered to get tickets this morning which is a bit of a bummer, hopefully I'll find some other people I know going.

Got tickets this morning but was a bit of a nightmare.

Tried for Fri-Sun no camping tickets at 9am as soon as they went on sale, was in the Ticketmaster queue for 10 mins and they were sold out by the time my queue finished...

So then tried for Sat & Sun no camping, same thing happened. At this point it was about 9:30 so decided to walk round to the Ticketmaster office as its near my work. Queue didn't look that big but was moving very slow.

Thankfully my gf managed to get tickets while I was queuing. I didn't know the NME website was selling tickets too, and it seems a lot of other people did not either as there were still tickets left about 10am.

Looking forward to the weekend now, just a bit gutted I will miss muse on the Friday.

i'll be there,, was a bit dissapointed at first wi the line up,,,would have liked the editors an the artics,,, but its growing on me

apparently Dr. Dre is going to be there an aw lol !!

With everyone on the festival bandwagon these days, I doubt there's any chance of getting day tickets in future, possibly nearer the time?

We couldn't get tickets because we actually have jobs/uni.

I don't think it even properly sold out last year. As far as I could gather Dfc withdrew tickets from ticketmaster to make it appear to be a sellout. You could get a ticket from a tout on the day at less than face value.

why would having an job stop you getting tickets? Surely having a job makes it easier to afford the tickets? I've not missed a T in the past 5 years and only a few prior to that for years back, all the time having a job.

As for getting tickets it's usually not too hard to pick tickets up nearer the time. Gumtree usually has people selling between now and then. People that cant make it etc. Keep an eye on the NME website / Ticketmaster for when they release cancelled tickets.

I'm at uni too, but who actually has uni from the 9th-12th July?

Got my ticket on friday morning, queued for about 15 minutes on ticketmaster. Managed to get a friday to sunday camping ticket.

Thanks guys I'll keep an eye out for some reasonably priced tickets.

By Uni/Job i meant we were all either at work or in lecturers when the tickets went on sale. Also had to buy a holiday that week too which meant little funds

Editors are supporting Snow Patrol at Bellahouston Park.

I'm getting a free hospitaliy weekend ticket for T. Can't wait!
