Focus RS MK 2

Sure, awesome cars.

Just have to be an nutter to drop the sticker price on one because at that point, they are less awesome when compared to other things :)

Awesome cars I personally think this thread shouldn't turn into a omg it's 28 grand thread though

awesome yes.. but when you think what you can get for 28k it becomes a bit less "awesome" :p

just a few examples

:o i would take any of the above instead of focus rs..

Yet again, another numpty who thinks that comparing a cars brand new list price against other cars second hand prices is relevant or appropriate.

£28k you say?

OMG what a rip!11

Of course it's relevant and appropriate! Clearly someone who wants to buy a brand new hot hatch is in the market for a 7 year old BMW!

Enlighten me, what can you have for around £26-28k brand new that is comparable to and discernibly better than the RS? I bet the selection isn't all that great.

Exactly! I love the RS and looked at one yesterday but I just can't get over the price!

It is to many, some people have X to spend, X opens them up to all sorts of options both new and old. Only people who MUST have a new car are, as you say, numpties...

Hopefully the price will drop off a cliff, for say a 2 year old version.

Personally I would prefer a brand new RS, compared to the older BMW's, I assume a standard 3 year warranty would come with the RS, I dont want a 3rd party warranty.

The cayman on an 07 plate does make the mouth water though.

My vote is on the RS.
