Anyone know the cheapest store to grab this in on the highstreet tomorrow? Need 2 copies for a mini lan we're having and the steam price is a bit silly!

You could probably sell the other 2 copies in the 4 pack thread if it works out cheaper.
 
ffs had a bunch of clan people rage because the boomber didn't set off the car alarm because he was shot when the survivors where miles away.


How can you be in a clan and not know basic game mechanics that have been that way since the early l4d12 patches?
 
Do the guys who host servers(or anyone really) know a way in which rounds can be controlled ? for example team A play through several rounds as humans before the change...rather than swap teams each round.
 
it's not really for public use...more just a group of friends.
me and a couple of others hate playing as humans and there are 4 others who prefer to play as humans, so it would just make us all a happy bunch if it could be done.
 
yeah i got tired of the swapping teams as it only allows it once then you got to dc and connect back again.

was just hoping with dedicated servers there would be some control as the way the rounds were played out.

if anyone does know or finds a way i would really really really appreciate their help ...love the game but only half of it lol.

I don't know why but I heard this for the first time last night and couldn't stop laughing. The way he says it is hilarious.
 
I'm having a real problem with face zombies recently, I can be running along merrily in fields of golden wheat swaying in the breeze and nowhere in sight a sign of the armageddon which has befallen the Earth when all of a sudden BAM facezombie has effectively brought me to a complete stop with his ability to materialise out of thin air. No matter where I go facezombie follows and sometimes he even brings his friend backzombie (and before you ask yes, he does do unspeakable things). Backzombie has mastered the fine art of back hugging, no matter how fast you turn around he will still be on your back, banging away at you. He also has the ability to just appear from nowhere and stop you mid-run (despite the fact that he is on your back and hence not in your way). Perhaps it is all just in my mind and these zombies don't exist, or perhaps it's just that they spend their days and nights following me and hence have no time to annoy the rest of you (or perhaps I'm just crap) but all I know is that I seem to be plagued by them.

Good game tonight! Can't believe I got one of the 2 tanks down with samurai sword on hard rain finale shortly before being pwned by the other :p

Insanity Versus has been updated by the way in light of some of the official updates:

General Fixes
-Medkit/pill adjustments
-Behind the scenes workings changes

Survivor Fixes
-Slow down survivors by 10% in water

Infected Fixes:
-Tanks should now spawn on every map
-Common zombies will despawn if they fall behind survivors (and respawn in front)
-Tank temporary immunity after spawn
*AI tank will be frozen, will not throw rocks, and will have godmode
*Player tank will have fire immunity and godmode for 2 seconds
*No more prelights or getting rushed by melee cause tank was rock throwing!
-Tank health reduced
