would anyone mind voting?

thanks to Maz and Barry and anyone else who has voted,

InvaderGIR it seems like you dont quiete get the idea of the competition, as Draeger has explained the competition is for effort put in and overall finish. if you dont want to vote for me thats fine, but it seems like you are deliberatly trying to put my work down.
and as for the 205 being shinier, the pictures are much lower quality and you cannot actually see the shine:p

I've explained that I understand perfectly well what the competition is, but the fact remains your car isn't the shiniest out of the ones in the competition I'm afraid.

Once again, if you're trying to rig a vote, post the url not in link form.

Post it as a copy & paste link, the site owners will be reading my post and thinking "yes, he should have done that, if he had, we wouldn't have found out so easily to disqualify him"

:D:D:D

I have already explained above that it was a genuine mistake, and that I understand if anyone wants to vote for another vehicle.
as far as i can see i have done nothing wrong. I also know of far more forums where the exact same thing occurs as im sure the owners do also

I'm not buying the "help out anohter forum member" line. No problem with coming on here saying "I've entered this competition, take a look and vote for me if you think I should win" - but what the hell is the point of a public vote for a competition if everyone just votes for the first person to ask?

Do you all do that with politics, vote for the monster raving loony party - thier candidate tried to eat your tie but he asked nicely for a vote, so why not.

No, you miss my point.

I don't mind that it goes straight to yours

But for each person that clicks on the link the website will see 'referer=ocuk forums'

If it's copy and paste link (ie, unclickable) then they won't get this referal, so could look like it's coming from an email etc instead

oh ok sorry,
i just copied and pasted the URL from the address bar:confused:

You wont make the mistake of asking on here for help again will ya!

Anyway have another vote :)

What a load of horse****.

mouthy might not be a mate and you probably don't know him personally, but its likely that you are closer to him, than any of the other entrants in that competition. You are both members of the same group simply by being members of this forum, so just tell me exactly what is wrong with helping a (virtual) mate out?

Would you vote for a mate who entered the ""x factor", or would you vote for the competition? I'd hope you'd vote for the former.
:)

Would be rude not to vote for a fellow (ex)Coupe owner. I thought I recognised the username from Coupe-Club too.
