Just interested, but what would happen if you did have a heavy roll with that cage in the car? Would it assist?

It would probably fold in half and take your head off at the same time. Looks good though.

i like the look of it, but do have a preference for small bumper ones. i wouldnt kick it out of bed (if it didnt have the fake cage)

I always hankered after a big bumper mk2 gti in my teens they were one of the best looking hatches back in the early 90's.

But I think its one of those cars that just looks right from the factory, imo no need for tinted lights or single headlights.

Having said that I don't hate the mods you've done they are subtle enough and it's in pretty good nick considering the age.

It's not tape, the lights are known as 'crosshairs', the cross is plastic and is inside the lense.
