*** Heavy Rain - Official Thread ***

Have my first experience of bugs last night – fell through a flight of stairs first, than an hour or so later I am missing the on-screen prompt; I’m at the butterfly bit and can’t drop-down – I tried reloading but it didn’t help, I’m hoping when I reload the save again it’ll be ok.

Bit pants that this dev decided to lock the saves like AC2 – even more pants if this second bug means I cannot progress – anyone know if I select a chapter it will allow me to replay from that chapter onwards, or is my main story save separate?
 
Starting to find some bugs now...Replaying certain scenes to get the different endings and the characters refuse to walk, hope it sorts itself out as this is the 5th time ive reloaded the same chapter. :mad:
 
The question is did you cut it off or not? (No prizes for what part ive just done)

Loving the game but not rushing through it. For me a couple of hours every other night or so I can play. I want to play it like a TV show in episodes.

So far its been enjoyable, a bit frantic, a bit frustrating although on the whole entertaining.
I thought id reach half way and be bored but this is one of few games Ive played in a long time I feel compelled to finish and with an interest in replaying the game differently next time round.

Not had any bugs as yet myself...

I seem to have the bug where my save game refuses to load instead giving me a blank screen and freezing my PS3! If i try and load the previous chapter will all my past decisions still be counted or not?
 
I lost all my trophys bar one for this game doh. At least the chapters are small and easy to start from I guess!

I am loving the game so far though.. a very unique experience.
 
Just finished my first play through, my button pressing kinda let me down at the end and I ended up killed 2 of the main characters :(

Looking forward to playing through it again to see how different decisions effect the story :)
 
Wow, what an excellent experience! I'm looking forward to carrying on with this. Some of my button presses have really let me down though, but at the moment I'm not doing too badly. :D

Think I had a similar game to you then.
I liked this game experience and 1st game Ive completed in a while.
Def will give it another go to try and get a different story next time.

Now imagine a game like this but in episodic content which updates every 4-6 months over say a period of 2 years? I can see that happening where players are left waiting for the next chapter but everyone having different experiences with the varous characters.
 
im really looking forward to picking this up, im planning on waiting until ive done ffxiii although i have to finish uncharted 2 before i pick that up - im trying to stick to one story driven game at a time, still have a few puap/racing games incase i just fancy a blast also.

Sorry if its been brought up a few times but is there any plans/info for a patch in the near future to fix all the bugs people keep encountering?
