Electric Blankets

If you've not had one before ther heat kinda sits under the quilt so even a much smaller blanket should heat all the area under the quilt

Who uses electric blankets? People are too soft these days.

It's only going to and coming from sleep that heat/cold effects you. You do have a hypothalamus!

My bedroom is usually ~5-10°C and I have no problem sleeping.

EDIT - it's 8°C now.

I thought it was only OAP's that used electric blankets
Surely you just need a better duvet and to man up a bit :p ;)

Yep, I agree with Vesta Man, can't say it would cross my mind to buy an electric blanket. But have to admit I've never actually tried one, so maybe once you have - you never look back ?? What you need is a nice warm, breathable down duvet, surely?! That way you'll be nice and warm without getting too hot ..... we have one of these on our guest bed and a really spenny top end down one on our own bed. Money well spent!

If you really don't want to get into a cold bed... just get into bed fully clothed... and once you've warmed it up... remove said clothes from the comfort of the warm bed...

Simples!

Hot water bottle + MAN THE **** UP = happy times?

Also I definately had to google this as I had no idea what an electric blanket was... I feel so young and naive :(

My nans house was burned down by a fault electric blanket (well, her bedroom and a bit of the hall). No es buenon.
