Haven't tried this, not a bad idea.

Such a good game, that you cannot question, but only when it works!!!

Haven't had any CTD's though, plenty of disconnections.
 
After last nights EA server outage on PS3 and PC, EA have found the issue and put a fix in place and brought the servers back online. This means that both PS3 and PC players can return back to playing Bad Company 2.



We are aware of a number of remaining disconnect issues on PC and we have released the “R5” server to hosts yesterday to address some of the disconnects. We are continuing to work on the remaining disconnect issues to have a solution as fast as possible as well as looking into reports of other issues raised on the forums for consoles: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-bad-company-2-ng/ and PC: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-bad-company-2-pc/



Battlefield Bad Company 2 has managed to prove so popular that yesterday the concurrent users in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 surpassed that in Battlefield 2 which has been going strong for almost 5 years.

Really enjoying it but alas losing patience with all the sniping going on really hope they nerf snipers.
 
been playing for about 2 hours tonight...then i keep getting kicked by punk buster...love the game btw but its taking the p**s now.

You couldn't predict this after all the Beta hype? Is saying something like that really that intelligent when it is hardly working at the moment?

The fact is that you weren't ready for your release deadline EA. Your game is full of bugs, and paying customers can't enjoy the product.

You are continuing to prove yourselves inept at delivering a product, even after Beta testing the **** out of it. Leaving paying customers unhappy and disappointed.

Even when the game is working (I don't know, maybe a year from now!!!??), you are still going to be remembered for being utter rubbish! Sort it out FFS, you p**s me off!

To be honest, isn't this just the way of computer gaming at the moment? I can't remember the last near perfect game released.
 
Right getting really annoyed with this now. Keep trying to connect to a game get told that server is full etc. so 10 min later in a game and CTD and this happened like 5 times now in a row. Complete joke.
 
The enjoyment is far outwieghing the problems for me just now,

As i said earlier i bet europe is getting sold short these first few days with the timing of the outage and EA USA are causing all these issues.

Im glad they are fixing it instead of leaving it broken though, some people just have to chill :cool:

A few more days and it will be awesome, its not like we are all losing stats and stuff

Hopefully i can post another server for you all tomorrow, 3-4 of us are clubbing together for a 3-6month deal from Multiplay

nerf snipers a snipers mortar should no be able to own a tank lol
my problem is that a lot of the maps are simply too sniper friendly yes have a couple of maps good for sniping but not every damn map

Agreed, tbh over the last year my gaming time has gone way down almost non existent now, too much rubbish about, I'm just sticking to a couple of games a year, the ones that are decent and I know I will enjoy, so far this year I've bought mass effect 2 and bad company 2, I don't intend to buy any more games this year

Even though it's not gonna be the greatest first week I know it's a game I will be playing for years so I'm not so bothered
