I think he raises a few good points. It was probably used as an excuse to increase the police state, at least here. He's probably right about it needing to be examined, but then again, I don't think it was an inside job. Nevertheless, he's still as you say, a tyrant, and generally a plonker.

You know comes to think of it, i think you are right... I swear i saw some puppet strings on the last bin laden video... and a bunch of CIA sitting above dangling those life like puppets.

They had us fooled all along.
 
Every time I read a report of Ahmedinejad's latest outrageous speech or statement, I wonder is that really what he said...?

I feel that he does get mis-translated 'sometimes' and how would you check?

We already know he was mistranslated on the whole "wipe Israel off the map" thing.

You just have to remember that all politics are local politics. He is doing it because it makes him look good at home. As Iran is pretty much already an international pariah as far as the US goes it isn't like he can make things worse so it is win/win for him.

Maybe he's laying the seeds for a nuke war with Israel.. After all, that is the true intention of his nuclear program.

Pretty much like how 90% of brainwashed westerners believed that Iraq had WMD that could kill us all in 45mins? propaganda works both ways and concensus doesn't equal truth.

But they didn't. That was the whole point. Didn't you see the millions of people protesting against the war on Iraq, all around the world? That war went ahead despite massive public opposition.

I think you will find that most people did not believe the 45-minute claim.

He said he wants Israel's government erased from the pages of history, by my understanding. Not the country, the country's government. That reduces the statement from "genocidal" to merely "hostile". But if anyone here speaks Arabic and cares to correct me, go ahead.

ummm no i think you'll find 90% of Westerners knew it was all bull. But out of our hands to do anything about it.
