Thats an SLR, it hasnt got a Quad Turbo V10 at all and its unlikely somebody has built a bespoke one to fit it, either.

Really, how do you know this?

I'm not so sure myself, given the other engine swaps that have been done in Dubai thats about the only bit of info in the OP that could be true.

Nobody knows but think about it, its just another funky supercar paint job of which there are many in Dubai that somebody has turned into one of those daft chain emails where a little knowledge becomes a dangerous thing.

Indeed it is. It's probably just been to the shop at foilacar.com, but half the fun in these emails is watching the reactions. :)

"Ok, the car won't make /14mile in 4.89 seconds, but dude.. IT'S WHITE GOLD PLATED!!!11onene" :D

Quad turbo on a V10? That just sounds like severe hassle for a start, I imagine it would be twin sequential turbos as how else do you split 10 exhaust ports evenly between 4 turbos, that's ignoring how you get all this to fit under the bonnet, the engine bay looks rather full already.

Also I doubt it's white gold either, white gold is actually still rather yellow, the only reason white gold jewellery looks really white is it's plated with rhodium, I doubt they white gold plated a car, then rhodium plated that.

You stick two turbos on one bank and two turbos on the other bank on a custom made manifold, whos to say all the turbos are the same size, you could have three ports on each side going to the bigger turbo and two ports going to a smaller sooner to spool turbo.

Other cars in dubai have had AMG engine transplants with mad amount of power, i have no issue with the fact this could indeed have a quad turbo V10, however the performance numbers are LOL.

Which V10 engine would it be that they used? And as I was trying to point out quad turbo V10 just seems engineeringly awkward, sure you can do anything you want to eventually, but that doesn't mean someone has. Also like I said, take a look under the bonnet of the SLR, that's a supercharged V8, where is this V10 and quad turbos and piping going to fit?

LOL at the 'stats'.

Looks like someone has said ... if an 800bhp SLR can do the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds, this must be twice as quick.

So what I'm looking at is a normal SLR with a chrome wrap...... someone proove me wrong!

The person could have atleast got an expensive number plate to go with the car. The lower the digits, the more expensive the number plate around here. Would have expected the a 2 or 3 digit plate!

The cars are pretty crazy there though, virtually every merc is an AMG, either S class or G wagon.
