Gum rubbing

Hey everyone, quick question...

I had a car accident on Saturday night where someone went up the back of my car. When they got out and we were swapping details, the passenger of the car who hit me rubbed something on what appeared to be his gums.

I've heard some users take cocaine in this way, could it be anything else or would it be worth mentioning something to the insurance?

LOL

It would probably give workers at the insurance company something to laugh about, so it would do some good.

A passenger might have touched their gums after an accident. Or they might not - you're not sure.

They might have been picking their nose.
They might have been rubbing their lip as a nervous gesture. Being in a car accident tends to make people nervous.
They might have been checking their mouth for injuries, e.g. they were eating or drinking when the collision occured and rammed themself in the face as a result.
They might have been picking something out of their teeth.

They might have been doing all sorts of things.

Having said that, even if the passenger did rub some coke on their gums after the collision, why care?

1) you were rear ended so you will claim from the other guy.
2) It was the passenger not the driver so I can't see why it would effect anything.

Rubbing coke into your gums is useless for getting high. I very much doubt it was coke.

Cocaine is a local anesthetic and as such is often rubbed into the gums by users which then enters the blood stream through the oral mucosa.

In any case I would say cocaine is the least likely possiblity.

Premise: They were in shock as a result of the collision.
Premise: They read this forum.

Conclusion: They were rubbing mustard on their gums. It cures shock (and everything else).

But the point surely is the PASSENGER that's doing it, the guy could be pole dancing on the street corner for all the OP care. He was the passenger, he wasn't driving.
