No doubt video games will be blamed, not UTTER STUPIDITY for leaving a loaded weapon within reach of a child.
I think the obvious thing to do is to ban wii's. IF it wasn't for them the child wouldn't of mistaken it for a gun and left it alone.
I don't know about you. But 3 year olds should not be playing mock shooting games. Current age rating systems already cover this. Don't think there is anyone but the parents to blame.
Guidance already exists saying 3 year olds shouldn't play shoot em ups. There's no way to spin this as the Wii's fault.
I think you missed the sarcasm![]()
Slightly surprised that the child had the finger strength to pull the trigger. Maybe it is that easy.
Not hard at all.
A good trigger is light, the correct technique is to gradually squeeze more pressure onto the trigger until it goes off.
A world championship level .22 target shooting rifle has a trigger weight circa. 2g for example.
A target rifle is considerably different to a home defence pistol.
Terrible, there should be a high level of discipline around firearms
Once i saw someone muzzle their friend for a bit of a laugh at a range, i decided at that point if they muzzle me i will shoot them immediately.. Luckily for them, they were immediately kicked out.
Massive prison time for that guy!
EXACTLY what I expected to read when I saw your post, stop posting such macho rubbish.
Your attitude doesn't belong on a range, but its not a problem since your whole anecdote is made up. You've never been to a range, and you've never discharged a weapon.

What part of my post do you even disagree with?
