Google Street View of 'whole' of UK Going Live Tomorrow

Great...think I was walking back along the seafront a year ago when it went by :D

I will also add that one of the Google Opel cars with French plates was parked at a nearby hotel in my town for nearly a year...used to see it quite often
 
Doubt it will be the whole of the uk somehow!

Probably just adding towns and some large villages.
 
Love the comments about burglars using Stree View. Of course all burglars are computer literate and prefer to look at a static image taken at some point in the past rather that case the joint so to speak.

Oh and let's not forget that burglars are super criminals that plan every move of their operation and don't do burglaries in an opportunist manner.

If i was Google I'd block that village from using Google like they blocked Google.

Yup, very possibly - I was looking up my old office recently, and in one view you have two women walking towards the office; then if you change perspective, the same two women appear - one walking into the office whilst the other walks down the street.
 
I doubt my village will be in there, still, maybe I should get my likeness printed onto a cardboard cut out to stand at the window.
 
Just noticed they've already updated it.

Seem to have done nearly every road in my area, even the small empty ones.
 
as my house is parallel to a main round the Street View camera car was able to see into my garden and so it looks to have been done some time last summer.
