Well, finally got on for some great games tonight; not on the TFU server unfortunately, no one on.
My stats are a little flacid, feel ashamed next standing next to the R4M. :)

Mr Seagull, you were getting called some awful names on the TFU Vent the day before yesterday - mainly because you kept killing one guy over and over - he was raging, but it was funny. I remember your name because I'm pretty sure it was you when we both ran for a chopper the other day and stood there looking at it, waiting for the other to fly it when neither of us knew how :D

Sadly, the hardcore option and TFU vent don't seem to agree with me, so I'll be sticking with the alternate OCUK vent option and non-hardcore games :D

I am waiting anxiously for any response here..... if I get a K/D ration of more than 1, I grin like a windowlicker with an ice cream.

Oh, and for those who added Pookie Bear to their friends list, EA seem to have found it prudent to delete everyone from said list - please add me again - I will try and remember everyone who was on there (although it also seems to limit the numbers!).

Play with a decent squad and team and you'll soon be laughing.

This may seem obvious but don't run in like rambo for the objective. Kill off a couple in close proximity to the house/area then go in. Or you could just watch your team go in and pick off the stragglers when you're following up. If you're defending, then defending the objective usually gets kills easily if you're smart.

Alternatively.. play as recon and mortar choke points or the same with a tank.
 
I was raging at this last night. I think it was because I had some beers that I was playing so badly but I had to quit and go to bed as I nearly broke the J key on my keyboard.
 
I love the funny side that crops up now and again in this game :D

Used the grenade launcher on a sniper then a few minutes later knifed him. He decided to throw a wobbly and shout "you need to use a noob tube to get kills?"

Simple reply was "didn't need to use any ammo on you last time mate"

Didn't hear back rofl
 
I don't know why people moan tbh these people have payed good money for the game if they like to run around noob tubing who cares its there right, same thing with snipers they are the most annoying in the game just sitting back picking people off but its the same there it is there right to play the game as they wish.
 
I think it will even out over time as people learn to use smoke and not to run in open spaces in straight lines.
I used to get reallly annoyed as I didn't know where I was getting hit from, then started playing as a sniper and now know where not to run.
 
I'm trying so hard not to play as recon anymore, focusing more on medic, however when i'm getting sniped left/right and centre, it's hard not to fall back into old habits and go recon again.
 
What annoys me about the snipers are that they don't get involved with the objectives. I was playing on the TFU server last night and on the lighthouse map we had 5 snipers up in the lighthouse sniping, despite the fact we were getting hammered on the ground and were pushed right back to the final base in short order. Did they swap class or even just come help? No, they sat there and got the occasional kill.
