So annoying that they're doing bloody maintenance again!

It better be some improvement this time because on previous ' maintenances' F ALL has been done...

Actually, last maintenance all my friends list was wiped.

EA did an awesome job I think :D

My friends list has been wiped twice. The joys.

Anyway, can anyone confirm for me what rank the MP-443 Grach Pistol and the Tracer Dart are unlocked? cheers

Anyone using war tapes? The sound seems much more improved for me, only discovered it recently. My only concern is whether it would start to make your ears bleed after a long game.

Guys, what are the Vent details for the OcUK server (rather than the TFU one, I'm too crap for hardcore)?

Ta.
Hey - the details for Knub's Vent server:
Host/IP: v27.darkstarllc.com
Port: 4025

We tend to play BF:BC2 from the "Knub pwnz j00!" channel. During the day it's quiet, but after 6 or so, it starts to pick up. Everyone in there is pretty cool, so feel free to jump in and say hi. The language can be atrocious at times, but it's all in good humour :D

I tried it but it seems to make everything make a sound if you get me , there just seems to be more ambient noise and it gives me a headache :(

Yup.. the audio is phenomenal tbh, pretty much one of the best games audio-wise imo :)

I hate people that play medic. But dont revive you when you are right near them.

I play medic pretty much all the time, and I have to say it can be incredibly difficult to find the dead team-mates. Even though there's a marker on the minimap, trying to find a dead sniper in a pile of bushes with a very faint-green icon is extremely tough. If you die in the middle of a road, then fair enough, but the number of times I've seen dead-guy markers on the minimap and then spent a minute playing hide and seek is silly. The dead-guy flatliner icon needs to be much more obvious, like the MCOM hud marker :)

He fancied a laugh...? :D

Well, I stopped playing medic last night and tried getting some unlocks on Assault. So much harder to get points AND kill people I found.

The initial weapons on the Assault Class are utter balls, even when I got the XM8 it was still pretty balls in comparison. I think I'm too used to the medic gun tbh. It was REALLY supprisng how crap the assault guns were though...they need to re-balance it. Medics are meant to heal/revive. Assault is for killing...surely?

On the plus side, the Assault class does make up for it slightly in having the noobtube. I went around spamming that a fair bit last night, comedy value kills some of the time. I appreciate it is lame as **** but if you can't beat them, join them :D

I think its more that the Medic weapons (100+ rounds, accurate as anything else in game) are just far too good, rather than other weapons being under-powered. 1v1 against a Medic at close range and it's a bit of an unbalanced situation, and it's pretty silly that their large magazines favour clearing close packed enemies off MCOMS even more than assault rifles or Gustavs.

2 shots from an M-60 to kill someone with 200 odd bullets in a clip is just mental , assault weapons don't do this. Shotguns do however! Cher Ching

Yeah, I have the same problem :/

They need to whack the recoil way up on LMGs when you're firing them on the move. They're dead accurate when crouched and full auto, so they should be balanced.

It's a shame that the upper-tier weapons are way superior to the lower levels. The AK74u for the Engineer is exactly the same as the lower guns but way more accurate, and the top tier Assault weapons destroy the AEG and XM8. The sniper rifles however are just meh, the M24, M95 and GOL are pretty much the same, then you have a semi-rifle for long range and a short range semi rifle, which are better examples of side-grades.

I did my first defib kill last night was quite funny. In between 2 containers went to revive a team player. And round the corner came the sniper that killed him. ZAP. lol

Shame the recharge is so long as right after 2 more come round. lol

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!

I've been house sitting all week where there is no net access or much else!

Sad I've missed a week of play but looking forward to pwning higher levels :D
