EA and dice need to get their acts together and patch the game up. ive not yet had chance to play it by the sounds of things its very buggy.

Nope nothing, Server providers tell us to get stuffed and EA say tought luck... so out of order!
Who knows when EA will fix it again, i've been on their offical forums asking them to please give us guidence on how to fix it.... but nothing!! i am absolutly deverstated, the server was going so so well! Oh well what a waste of time and effort!
I'l let you guys know when it works again thro steam group (in my sig) sorry about this guys!
There are so many little things that need addressing that add up to one major issue with this game. I love it and play it all the time and deal with its shortfalls.
- Auto team balance
- Friends list automatically places you in same side as friends (most of the time). Not good if 10 of you join a server and are all friends.
- Weapons need nerfing
- Points awarded need nerfing.
- Too many CTD's/Crashes still
- Server browser/Friends/History seems borked and glitchy.
- Server browser on the whole (joining games/etc).
This is just from the top of my head as I typed. There are many more and much more detailed than above.
But as I said at the start of the post, I put up with it because its so damn good. Imagine in a month or two and we can hopefully look back and laugh at how buggy it was at the start.
"Ahh, I remember the days when you could snipe people with a shotgun, ho ho ho that was funny" etc.
To be honest it's one of the best FPS games I've played in a long time, even with all it's little problems. If it was released with maybe 50% less of its foibles I'd say this has contention for game of the year for me.

i dont think anyone is available to reboot our server, Just shoot me now! until about 4pm.
Not that i think it will make a difference, EA should start to think about offering us a free week to be honest, as said above this aint exaxtly cheap!

I know the problem with the TFU server its to do with the img on loading screen, if its longer than 64 letters it causes CTD's!

The banner link isn't more than 64 though , I counted it and can't understand why it's bugging out like this.
As much as I don't want it to be my fault for putting the link in there I don't think it's something we have done , more than likely something to do with this "change in hardware" that they have been doing today.
And why would it be different for some of us , if others are crashing all the time what have we done differently to them?
