I don't understand why proper spoiler BB code hasn't been added. It's a basic function that couldn't possibly hinder the forum in any way.

I don't understand why proper spoiler BB code hasn't been added. It's a basic function that couldn't possibly hinder the forum in any way.
Fear of hidden Competitors and hidden Criticism?
I am on level 7 how many hours do you reckon it will take? I just seem to be fighting constant Lucidon's and Flanitors and it is getting boring.

Surely the current way of turning the text the same colour as the background is a more effective way of hiding it?
For anyone interested, here is a quick guide for farming CP quickly and easily at the start of Chapter 11.
Chapter: 11
Location: Archylte Steppe (i.e the first big open area)
When you first enter you will be shown your first Ceith stone, and there will be a save point near by. When looking at this save point, i.e facing a cliff, turn left and run along the wall.
You will soon encounter a Behemoth King, he can be easily ambushed and when killed gives 4000cp. The best way to ambush him is to stand in the little crevice to his left and then jump up the little wall, you will be out of his "danger zone" so he will not attack you, and will be very close to him allowing you to ambush him quickly.
Now the tricky part, he needs to die in a single break or within about 5 seconds of Break ending, otherwise he will shape-shift and replenish his entire HP bar.
Set up should be Commander/Commander/Ravager or Commander/Commander/Commander and your weapons should be upgraded to lv 5-10, commanders also have an ability that can insta-kill an enemy on low health which is almost a requirement if you aren't quite strong enough to finish him in a single break.
Try and chain your attacks so he stays launched for the majority of the fight.
After his inevitable demise, run back to the save point and a little past it, then turn around and head back, he will be respawned and ready to have over more CP.

Before starting use an aegisol, start the fight with Commander/Medic, then switch to Ravager/Ravager and have Ravager/Medic as a back up.
His special weakness is chain abilities.

I'm approaching the end of chapter 7 now. Really getting into the combat, never thought I would. Gotta say it's pretty well done, even if the crysantamanuiunin doesn't give you any flexiblity. Kind of smoke and mirrors that thing is.
My gripe. I've been quite patient with all the cutscenes so far but they're really starting to grind on me now. It's ridiculous, fight - cutscene - fight -cutscene. It's so painfully obvious Square are stretching things out to pad out the game.
Where's Sahz gone? I liked him. Don't give a toss about any of the others, even Lightnings starting to annoy me now.
The story set off quite well but it's just became boring and stretched out too thin. And where are the bad ass/charismatic villans? Where is Kefka, or Sephiroth, or Ultimecia? Why do I not feel any affinity with anyone in this game. Everyone I've came across so far, either directly or indirectly (villan) has just been bland. Sahz is the only one I like, and I haven't seen him for about 5 hours.
I'm going on, til the end, really because I want to play around in pulse. But this FF really hasn't delivered.

Don't think I've posted anything more than minor spoilers though.
Would a spoiler thread be worth it? Or maybe a 'help' thread rather than just people talking about their playthrough.
On Chapter 11 now and it has opened up a lot. Going to give it a break for now though.

Disc 3? DISC 3?? It's all about Blu Ray my son.
I was tempted to get it on PS3, but the difference seems minimal, and I am a little addicted to achievements at the moment

On topic, this game is amazing. 4 Hours in and its like a massive film! Love it (considering its my first proper play of a FF!).

i'm not a fan of the whole cut scenes every 5 minutes, I find myself wanting to skip them to get on with the game, I hope they ease up soon.
I agree that it's good they focus a lot on the storyline but I just wanna go kill stuff and improve my chars
