Bahrain Grand Prix 2010, Sakhir - Race 1/19

Looks like we're gonna have to wait until the last 10 laps of the race to see any overtaking folks. I guess this is why they added refuelling back in 1994 :o
 
same problem with live timing, sectors 1 and 2 are very close together.

something new on pits stops, its now timing from when they enter the pit lane and shows the stationary time when they leave it.

Another year, more rule chages but same old problems.

Until they fix the problem of the cars being to aerodynamic dependent and getting stuck around 0.5 seconds behind the car in front in it's the dirty air the racing is NEVER going to get any better closer. It's not really motor sport when the driver has next to no chance of being able to pass the car in front.

Of course it doesn't help that the track is crap and the new twisty micky mouse mid section makes it even harder to stay close to the car in front.

There has to be some action during the pit stop period though surely.

Renault win the first tyre cockup award of 2010 :D

Shame for Petrov he was going well.

Edit: might have been a mechanical problem actually so the award is still open :p

Its the first race. Geez, teams are going to play it conservatively til they get more milage on these cars and data to look at in anger.

The problem is they should have let them test as much as they wanted prior to this season and then regulate during the season.

No use having big rule changes and then limiting testing.
