When its running at 1000/1375. :D

Its not fully stable (1000/1375 can run furmark as much as it likes) but can bench at 1025/1375:

Please be aware that the memory is overclocked 37.5% and could well be a good sample, YMMV.
 
I think it's just the price that people don't agree with. The 5850 was £199.99 at launch.
 
Is that the default vantage settings? Also, what CPU you got in there?

Looking very promising if it's the same settings I ran for Vantage, cause with my 5850 at 950 and I3 530 at 4.2 I managed 15992.

Oh, and what voltage is the GPU set at?
 
GPU voltage is impressive for 100, but then I suppose that is due to the lower number of shaders.

Would be interesting to see some game results.
 
It's getting the same vantage score as a stock HD5870 which is not terrible.

It has a different performance profile though since it has more bandwidth but less core power.
 
Have recently been on lookout for a small case with good cooling, but was struggling to find just the right case. Somehow missed the 180 mini completely.

Landed up getting Coolermaster Elite 341, which while as close as dammit to the perfect case for me, this 180 looks like it would have been the perfect case without exception :(

What mobo you using? Can't get a push-pull setup on my H50 with the H55M as the CPU socket is too close to the back of the case :(

Still, works great with just the single fan, these i3's run stupidly cool. :D
 
Its a P55M-UD4 from gigabyte.

Is giving me 4.34ghz from my i5 (at 1.4v) at a 217mhz base clock and 1736mhz mem at 6-6-8-22 timings.

I am going to look into exernally mounting the first fan, that would let me shift the block towards the back and then reverse mount an HR-03GT on the 5830....
 
Someone wanted the game that came with it so I got the card and they got the game.

Made it quite a bit cheaper than the 5850.
