Does anyone suffer from this.

I seem to wake up in the morning mostly ok once I get going then come about 12-1 I'm sat in class fighting a battle to keep awake. Note this ain't a medical thread.

I’m usually firing on all cylinders in the morning and it carries on for the rest of the day. I find that a walk at lunchtime helps. Sitting in a class for hours on end may have something to do with it.

sometimes feel like i could drop off around 2pm on a friday at college (day release) but that's due to the boring video we are usually watching, the lecturer does drop off

This is fact I used to always get sleepy after food I find it best if you utilise your lunch it is not healthy sitting at desk for long periods for eyes or body so I take a nice long walk and check out shops etc..

Get some fresh air it would do you good and excersise fatty! :)

I usually get a mid afternoon slump after eating or in the car on the way home (note i'm not driving) and often fall asleep in the car!

I drink plenty of water and eat plenty of food throughout the day, it just happens! I should probably get an hour or so more sleep though.

I have pretty bad sleep patterns I think, but since I've got in a routine it's improved slightly, as in I can get up at half 7 in the morning. I went to the doctor and they took a blood test and they found that I am anemic, which is lacking in iron I think, but only borderline anemic. Apart from that, they've never said anything else could cause it, so I was thinking it must be normal.

What would be better to eat at dinner?

A prawn Marie rose baguette, or a bowl of chopped fruit?

I also had a 1 and a half hour nap about 2 yesterday, but I don't think that helped, as when I went to sleep about 12 last night, I had a bad 7 and a half hours sleep, was up and down like a yoyo, sometimes I have a solid nights sleep. I've given up drinks that contain caffeine, I only drink decaffeinated now and this has shown me that caffeine appears to have no positive effect on me, as in keeping me awake, just does not work.

I get the same thing at about 2pm, it then becomes incredably difficult to stay awake sometimes. I can't have caffine because of my condition

i think its something to do with the fact that heat plays a large part in feeling tired. i was driving my little girl about yesterday about 3pm to get her off to sleep for her afternoon nap, and i felt myself starting to doze, so i opened all the windows up to wake myself up a bit and pulled over to get out of the car for a sit down in the fresh air.

for me personally, i think its because its coming up to summer, i start feeling lazy.

I suffer from this too but for me it really is a lack of sleep. I just have to make the choice of no gym and more sleep or gym with less sleep. Not an easy choice as i love going to the gym so naturally i pick the less sleep option.
