Metacritic or Gamerankings is probably a good place to start, though surprisingly there's not a section for Arcade games by themselves, which is a shame.

Get Braid and both Mega Mans anyway. :)

Setting aside, it was still the better game. I don't say this lightly - Golden Eye ranks in my top 5 fps on any platform fullstop.
 
I'll be getting this. Don't think the single player was as good as Goldeneyes but the multi-player was a lot better.... Though the Farsight is the worse camping gun ever-ever!! lol.
 
It's just a shame that Goldeneye was canned for XBL - a sad, sad day :(
Oh how I long for the day when playing Facility (or Faculty as it was known to our circle of Goldeneyers) and screaming over the headset "He's in the bogs!!!" :p

You'll be able to do that in this as they've added multiplayer maps and weapons from Goldeneye.
 
admittedly it was never Goldeneye, but none the less a fantastic game.....

bottom line - Goldeneye MP levels over XBL :D :D
 
Great game for MP, just the ability to add bots with different personalities made it epic, i seem to remember there was one who would just run into a crowded room and fling grenades/rockets all over the place killing themselves along with everyone else.

Plus it really improved the dual gun concept that goldeneye barely used, pick up a couple if twin blasters and go to town.

Or lay down a laptop gun and laugh as it gunned people down from the other side of the room...oh and tranq darts that made the screen go blurred :D

...epic.
 
I spent so many hours playing multiplayer with mates on facility with proximity mines - Goldeneye was just superb single and multi. Might get this for a touch of nostalgia :)
 
played it all day has to be the best 800 ms points spent ever
considering i would pay 1200 for the standard n64 version ported, but this upgraded version is awesome, xbox live, achievemnets, far improved (tastefully so) graphics, classic controls, and awavtar awards and so on. basically this is going to keep me enteratined for a long time, and for someone like me who played the original to ABSOLUTE DEATH, this could not be better

yeah ive been enjoying it massively, done two levels on perfect agent so far, i refuse to kick it down to secret agent lol

I'm definitely getting it then. Loved the original and I'm positive my mates will love the chance to play it multiplayer.
 
just got the trial down....oh my! this does bring back memories

The updated GFX and sound are very welcome too.....as is the solid framerate the ol' faithful N64 couldnt pull off lol

just need some reddies to afford the full game now :D
 
just had my first multiplayer game. ive still got it :D first place!

this game is epic, what ive been wanting in a fps for years :p

are there more satisfying reload actions/sound effects in any other game? i doubt it
