It could be a touch lower in that picture but I had only just installed the shocks/springs. 60mm at the back, 40mm at the front, for the nose down stance..

I liked the BBS RMs, but they would have been too high maintenance in the winter. They are a 2 piece wheel, with 30 bolts on each that attract salt/brake dust. I sold them for £1250.00 with tyres and they cost me £12 hours labour for a website.

Gunna bang a set of Schmidt Modern Lines on nice easy to look after 1piece wheels

Pop out windows were sourced from germany for 200 euro, love the Happiches!

I love mk2's, I've had this one for quite a while now. Love seeing nice ones on the road aswell.

She's got a 16v 2.0L engine, a nice ~170 BHP.

When the new engine went it, had all the bits powerder coated subframe, etc. Please ignore the temp. air box, will get a nice K&N.

I've got a Mk2 1.6 Driver whilst I'm at uni, completely original though

keep hold of the driver, don't mod anything but the engine, stick an R32 unit in once you graduate

I built the RM's myself and it took 1hour per wheel. Had to seal them all, but alas, rent is more important! lol.

Did you know they still make the MK1 golf in Africa? price is around £3.5k if I remember rightly. The 2CV freak from work was telling me

Yeah they've just wound it up, they were strange mk1/mk2 hydrids in 5 door only too. Interesting motor though.
