512 SP for the GTX480, as expected.

Prices seem reasonable - now we just need to wait to see what availability is like. And, of course, real world performance!

I agree that the cooler does seem to be a bit of a beast!

this is really hard for me lol I can't decide between 5870 and 470!
It all comes down to my HX520,but im not changing my PSU,So i don't know what card lol

If the 480 destroys my 5870 I will love them once again, sell my ATI and epeen how my fermi crushes them cheap, tacky ATI cards.

The problem is you probably would do that. You seem to go extreme fanboy for whatever card you have at the time.

as for extreme fanboy, I will support the hardware if it deserves it, at the moment my 5870 rocks and as such I will pass on my enthusiasm for it, same with a 480.
