Coming Spring 2010

Like the form factor. Shame you can't cram in a decent GPU...

The software is Windows, Ubunto, Mac OS - whatever you fancy really.

It's not on my to buy list (this isn't a new Amiga or anything - just Commodore USA putting out a PC in a keyboard).

I thought in the last thread there was something about them doing something new with the Amiga OS?

Amiga and Commodore are seperate entities.

I've a feeling that Commodore USA are a seperate entitiy to the commodore that was recently selling blinged up PCs round these parts. It seems to be just a wee startup that's trying to get the rights to stick a C64 logo on this thing :(.

Rumours doing the rounds that this is a fake.

Commodore Gaming (who own the rights to the name in the USA) haven't heard a sausage about it...

It can't use far less energy than any other desktop. Atom systems have got to the point where a 10W computer wouldn't count as using far less energy. So that much at least is a blatant lie. Pretty sure that's bigger than any of the nettops too.

I have my old A1200 sitting in a box. At some point I'm going to admit to myself that I'm never going to use it again.

My mate still has an Amiga HDD with games and utilities installed on it. I think it's 80MB. He hasn't owned an Amiga since the mid-ninties but keeps it "just in case"
