How do I get a live.com email address?

The signup page is only offering me .co.uk :/ So how can I get a .com?

(Without reinstalling...)

mm not sure, i get hotmail.com and live.com thru that link..

try this, i have copy and paste the address bar..

Ok I did it..

I changed en-gb to en-us in the URL of the signup page.

After I completed the signup page it gave an error and asked me to try again later. But I can log in with my new .com email address, so it seems to have worked.

Strange.

Ask someone in the US to create it for you? Then change the password/other info you have to give at signup?

Pfft just get a GMail account. Only n00bs use Hotmail/Live email addresses.

I only need the address for paypal payments. It won't be used for actual email. And 'live' is one less letter than 'gmail', thus live wins.

But yeah, since Microsoft have made it a pain in the arse to get a .com I went with gmail in the end.

I went through the normal sign up process and was able to get a .com address :confused:

Try doing it through a US proxy, I guess they give you an address based on where your IP is.

Actually you get @googlemail.com nowadays so it is quite a few more letters.
