EA told everyone to turn off punkbuster to help stop some of the crashes
so now when ppl server browse they tend to search for servers that have PB disabled, and it seems to work, 15 minutes after turning it off we went from 9 ppl on the server to the full 32.
Admins have been told about it and are being extra vigilant for hackers,

Trust me this is VERY VERY sad !! We tried to keep it fair and honest but clearly EA dont want us to
Our server has been full for the 4 hours because of one thing being changed! I think you'll find that all the other servers here are doing exactly the same thing, no way they'd fill the servers like they have with it on!
As soon as EA sort it out we'll be putting it straight back on and streaming!

Well what are server owners supposed to do when EA are telling every1 to turn PB off, its all over the EA offical forums saying to server owners to turn it off if they want a full server.
Luckily we have a few admin on all day long, so that wont be a problem at all.

Were are the hardcore servers theirs no filter for them???
Had a good session on the OcUK server yesterday.
I am noticing on other servers that the number of one shot deaths I'm suffering is on the increase, even with body armour on non-hardcore servers.
I always play on PB servers so is this the aimbots getting well out there now?

We always have admins on so not really an issue.
PB is generally useless anyway for the most part. It might catch a lot of the idiot 10 yr olds who search aimbot in google.
The cunning hackers are always going to get round it one way or another.

Punk buster currently makes no more or less of a difference, if DICE them self are telling you to turn it off, kinda says it all dont it!
you need a server thats well admin'd (as gornla said above)

We've not turned PB off at all - I remember the advice about it but at that point our server was broken anyhow so I didn't bother doing it
edit: I agree that the important thing is to have decent admins though.

To be fair, I've never had/seen any issues with your server or the players on it, just took me a while to find it at the outset!
I do find the UV baiting quite amusing and yesterday's "FudgePacker" clan tags did raise a smile.
well yesterday i seen alone about twenty aimbot bans and they were caught by pb so it is doing something. id rather have it on catching a few than not having any and more aimbotters on .
there was a aimbot spree cause of the recent pb update that is why we seen so many done which was friday or saturday i believe. if you look most the aimbot 50120

the amount banned has doubled since yesterday so they are doing a good job indeed. was 200 yesterday today 400 .
yes admins do do a good job of kicking hackers but should also have the back up of knowing that pb pbbans is doing its stuff aswell
