Me. Until the cat wants to sit on the couch, and the Mrs gets in from work. In retrospect I have a feeling I was just used to purchase the house, now the pair of them resent me being here.

Either way, it just serves to further underline the point that the OP should take great pleasure in the freedom of living on his tod for a bit. :)
 
It's great, you can start watching an entire Rocky boxset with a bottle of Jim Beam, only to wake up in your underpants in the middle of a living room at 3am with memory of only watching the first film. Not that this ever happened to me.
 
I suppose that if I lived alone I could get the projector that I want.

I always wanted to know what it would be like to watch pron an a 6 foot screen. :D

I have done it for the past 3 1/2 years (although it looks like it will be ending soon). It can get lonely at times, mainly day-time on days off requires effort to stay busy. I've played a lot of games in that time, I've acutally had time to play my guitar. I've had chance to play to CDs that I have owned since my teens. Now this isn't meant to be a boast but I've had plenty of female company in that time, I've had various hair-dryers and make-up left her that I have had to rotate and be damn careful that i got it right. It's been great.

The only 2 bits of domestic advice that I will give (because the rest of the stuff either goes without saying or plenty of people will mention) is: buy a large freezer. Even though it's only you, the amount of multi-buy offers you will have to decline due to freezer space, if you have a small freezer will rubbish any savings that you would make by having a small freezer. The other is buy a good iron. It's no fun westling with a shirt on the ironing board only to go the pub and look like you have slept in your clothes.
 
After living with other people it must be really boring though? I'm sat at home in the day back from uni, and when my parents are out it's so dull. I like having someone around so i can just go and chillout in their room or whatever, play xbox with etc.
 
Living on your own is great until you realise that you like the knowledge that someone else is in the house even if you aren't in the same room.
Rattling round an empty house on your own is quite lonely.
Mind you, I'm loving it this week while the wife is away! :cool:
 
I do live alone, but because where I work, with the commute, I am barely home for a few hours and then its bedtime and my weekend is always busy. There is never a day where I have nothing to do so its fine that way.

I have in the past in alone while in uni, it was boring !!!!

If you are working, lots of friends in a close proximity then it should be fine.
 
It's ok but after a while, sometimes I feel like i'm going to break down and cry. I've nowhere to go and nothing to do with my time - I get lonely, so lonely, living on my own.

Sometimes I feel I'm always walking too fast; and everything is coming down on me - down on me, I go crazy.

Living on my own.
 
I've just finished a stint of living alone for 6 months (and now moved back in with my mum for a couple of months before moving down south!). Everyones advice about living alone is pretty much spot-on but i think being single will make it easier. I moved into my apartment by myself the day after my long-term gf went off to uni 100 miles away so it was a depressing time tbh (we're still together) and it was too much time alone to reflect on how lonely it made me! Then, i thought '**** it! man up!' and loved living alone - loud gaming sesh's till 3am, nobody eats my food, the entire bed to myself, clean up when i want to clean up dammit! walking round starkers - its a good life. Do it!
 
I live on my own, but 2 best friends within 30 metres of my house. I love the freedom, but my house is usually a social gathering place, so not really lonely!

Also as said, freedom to do whatever the hell you want. MW2 until late, eat what I want, fap morning, afternoon and night etc

I knew within 5-10 posts it would descend into fap posts.:D

As mentioned before if you don't mind spending time by yourself you will be ok, I get my human interaction by phoning friends and family and using the net too much. It keeps me occupied and stops me getting bored.

Weekends can be tough if you have nothing to do, but during the week you will be out of the house working then making tea/ sandwiches for the next day washing etc, more than enough to keep you busy.
 
Thanks for all the opinions guys, expected the fapping comments but who wouldnt? :D

Think I'll go ahead and live on my own, 6 month contract on a place and see how it goes, sounds wayyy more upsides that moving home.

So so far, fap, walk round starkers, game, iron?, :p
