Added a few bits to the car recently, new wheels wrapped in the new Toyo R1R's which should be loads better than 888's/A048 semi slicks if I get caught in a downpour.

And also another exhaust, must be the 4th one now but a totally different style 'GT3' from the Cadena Exige race cars from 2006. The rear panel that holds the number plate must be removed for this exhaust, looks much more aggressive and is actually a lot quieter to boot!

Only downside is a the back of the car now gets covered in black soot from the exhaust, still spits flames though ;)

Apologies for the filthy car in the latest photos, it will be clean for saturday I promise!

Neil.

Yep, I preferred the look of the rear end when it still had the black plastic and grilles.

It looks like it's been in an accident now and tie-wrapped back together.

Wheels are an improvement though.

Great improvement IMO, need videos od faid exhaust mind you.

Would love a normal S2, especially with K20 power, but hey ho. I'd need to move house before I was comfortable parking it here. Glad it looks used and abused too :D

Hard to comment on difference as one is clean and much better colours. That exhaust certainly kickes out some soot!

The car looks great on both setups! Would be interested to see how you find the R1-R tyres. They are supposed to be inbetween the T1Rs and R888s.

Prefer the new wheels nice and simple 5 spokes look good on pretty much every car but don't like the exhaust being all exposed, probably be ok if you still had the mesh covering in there but just doesnt work for me i'm afraid. Shame its quieter though, your car going through that tunnel at winchester sounded AMAZING for a 4 pot :D

Surprised at all the people not liking the changes. Looks way more purposeful now. Old wheels are wa ytoo fussy as is the rear plastic which doesn't really serve that much of a purpose anyway.

I'm going to buck a trend here by saying I prefer the newer alloys. Not sure on the exhaust "look", as the missing trim really stands out. At the end of the day though, it's what you prefer and who else matters really? :)

Edit: It looks like you've had to sacrifice the rear towing eye? And is the diffuser now at less of an angle? I wonder if that makes much difference to the aero.

Looks good :)

Only thing i dont like is the exposed part where the exhaust is sitting, looked better with the cover! :p
