My car is in loads of bits. The front end is off as I tried to find the source of the condensed up headlight. Found out the bracket holding onto the housing had actually ripped the housing letting water get in. Drying then epoxy resin fix win win :D

Gave up cleaning the engine bay, waste of time seeing as the engine will be in bits within a week anyway.

Looking forward to it, just hope I can get done to the car what I want before the weekend.

My 'Teg is all in one piece :p I need to clean it and sort out the cloudy headlights though.
 
I am really looking forward to seeing some of the cars on Saturday. Weather forecast keeps changing....yesterday it said 13*c with sunny intervals, now it's rain! grrrr
 
How exactly does everyone figure out who everyone is? Obviously if you recognise particular cars I suppose, but if everyone is milling around?

Is it a matter of "Hi i'm Gaijin lol, I playz Battlefield alls the timez"?

Well I'm an easy one as I think I'm gonna be the only Chinese guy at the meet :D

Otherwise we could do Fast and Furious style where we stand next to our cars with arms folded and looking moody waiting for someone to tell you to "pop the hood", at which point you can choose to exchange names.

Well I'm half Chinese so you aren't totally alone, even if I'm accepted by neither race :D

I've been told by many that I look Maori though :confused:

I should be identifable if you see a guy wearing pink with immaculately kept hair, throwing some punk who has climbed on his car, onto his arse :p :D
 
What we all do is hang around in little cliques of people we've met before, then come home and post on the internet how it was a big shame we never got around to seeing XYZ :p

It's generally fairly easily worked out by the cars etc but sometimes an "I'm Howard, aka Howard on the forums" is necessary, and thus exchanged :p

You forgot to add that the cliques stand and point at the people who haven't been on a meet before. They're the obvious ones because they stand about and look a little lost.
