If I'm assaulting with it, I just spray and pray unscoped, I seem to be rather good at guessing the aimpoint. Have you noticed it doesnt appear to suffer much, if any bullet drop, at long ranges?

There are 3 bullet types, normal, sniper and heavy.

Sniper is all the bolt actions except M95. Suffer mavity.
Heavy is M95 and mounter weapons, suffer less mavity.
Normal is everything else, pretty much unaffected by mavity.

The VSS/Other semi snipers use normal, so there's pretty much no drop, but their damage output is much lower (39 at close, 25 at long for T88 and SVU, 25 at close, 20 at long for VSS) and only get a multiplier of 2.1x for headshots as opposed to the 3.25 for bolts.

Silly considering the VSS does a hell of a lot of dmg but drops very fast in reality :p

Jesus this is taking the biscuit, having to update to the latest version to find some servers, but the updater has been running for about an hour now and its only approx 75% done :(

Bad Company 2 - Plasma Issues
Mar 25 2010 17:30:03 by Dentist
Bad Company 2's backend systems (Plasma) have just failed causing servers to all fail.
Once EA have fixed the problem, servers should be able to be restarted.

Are there three other people who would like to buy this from steam with me? Its £80 for a squad pack, so £20 each.

I think I might need to upgrade my PC, currently on a C2Duo (2.4ghz), 4850, 8GB ram and at times the game will just stutter and lag for about 10 seconds before coming back to a reasonable speed, seems to be when theres a fair bit of explosions and smoke on screen.

Actually better check my pc will run it ok

Ive got Q6600 @ stock
4gb ram
768 mb 8800 GTX
Windows 7 64 bit enterprise

If not im gonna have to buy a 360

Probably your CPU more than anything else. Can you overclock it at all?

Should be fine as it's a quad core. You may want to oc it a little though - you'll prob get better performance with it.
