Yes, I find it quite irritating too. I'm in process of applying for PBBans streaming. Actually I re-applied yesterday, first one was rejected because I'm not in clan :mad: I re-applied for community PBBans streaming, but they are very anal about all info you provide and I'm pretty sure my second application will be rejected too. What is the point in that? They are there to help us get rid of cheaters, we are on the same side of barricade and they treat us like cheaters ourselfs :rolleyes:

Assuming I remember how it works correctly they do need to be quite anal about it though or they could have rogue admins banning people unreasonably.

edit: Hmm..actually I might be talking billox. Apologies if so.

I understand they need to be anal about info you provide, but why it is almodt only exclusively available for clans?

Here is the list of requirements:

- Servers MUST be hosted at a data centre. This means that you can rent a server off a Game Server Provider (GSP), co-locate your server or rent space on a dedicated server in a data centre.

- PBBans require a working website from each streaming applicant. The website needs to include such things as a team roster, server information and a forum for discussion with team members. It is preferable to have the roster and server information public. Xfire is not an accepted website.

- Free online email accounts are not considered acceptable email accounts for streaming applicants.

- Please include a GUID that you have recently played on with your application.

- Please ensure your forum profile is up to date before continuing as the following is auto completed based on it.

Woo hoo...got my best ever marksman score, 327...just afterwards I got 318 as well, using M24...put a huge smile on my face and even spammed it on the chat at TFU :D

Free websites are fine.

Game Monitor and Game Tracker have a varitey of server banners available which will inform the public of your servers. These banners are free and the code is very simple to add to your website.

A team roster can include a link to a site such as battletracker but it is preferable to have a well set out list on your site which includes details of the player admins team captains etc. If you just have a simple site a locked post in public view will do.

Websites MUST be populated. Creating a quick free website with 2 members and throwing together the information required does not constitute a populated website. We are looking for signs of longevity and need to see some activity from the team members.

You may just be a small team starting out but please get your members signed up and active before applying to stream. The more activity we see on your site the more convinced we are that you are serious about wanting to stream and keep your servers as free of cheats as you can.

Fancy some new rush maps now ... :(

Love rush but finding conquest isn't as good as in previous BF games, think it lacks the scale of the old ones, maps are nice but the games seem to be very short with conquest, over before you know it :)

Very nice, where'd you get it? My best so far is 322, Arica Harbor, As American went up the hill to the right and as far back as I could and killed a sniper at the back of the enemy base. Nothing quite as awesome as pulling those shots off.

Can't remember the map name, you start in a base, first mcoms on a quasi island, then next mcoms in a village then over the hill to the mcoms in the final base, looks kinda desertish.

Anyway, was basically sitting on the crest of the hill in the starting base on the attacking side, 4 guys grouped on a little hill overlooking the village with the second set of mcoms noob tubing the village, took me about 7 shots to guess bullet drop then bingo, got the 327/387 and a minute later and 316/376. Made my day :D

This is biggest issue i have, all we are, are some mates who got together to pay for a server, we have no interest or time available to run a clan, forum and a website, we just want somewhere to play without the hassle of searching for servers

They could at lease have a function that allows you to use their streaming lists, I personally have no interest in slapping PB bans on people, so dont give me the admin rights to do so, i would just kick them from our game if pb had missed them

Using the punkbuted addon just now, but if the ctd and server crashes start again tonight we will have no option but to turn it off again

Yeah I know what you mean. It just doesn’t feel the same compared to a 64 man conquest map. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game but I hope BF3 will have the same scale (Or bigger!) than BF2. I still miss watching friendly jets flying over having a dog fight with other jets while there is complete chaos everywhere else.
