New Nissan Micra

The previous Micra was worth it just for the 350SR version they made:

I'm stabbing myself right now as I'd never ever thought I could like the look of a Micra. This one looks ace in a riced up kind of way.

Indeed. It's no GT-R but it'll do the job its designed for just as well.

Though I didn't like the outgoing model, it appears a very well suited car to the sector.

Actually saw one of these the other day, broken down on Gloucester Road with two geezers leaning in the engine bay scratching their heads. It actually looked fantastic If I'm honest.
I actually thought they weren't real, I just have memories of it being in Gran Turismo 3 and wondering whether it still comes with the vase on the dash .

I sometimes see one in the traffic on the way home from work, in metallic blue.

It's a small city car, very few are ever going to be interesting, let along exciting. It looks distinctly "meh", like the rest of them - Yaris, Polo or otherwise

It's a mass produced means of economical personal transport for God's sake, not some masterpiece of artistic design.

Still, personally I do prefer the Hyundai i20 which is not only practical but incredibly attractive

I had a nosey round one at Geneva and they're not too bad close up, just looks like a more modern Micra...as you'd expect really lol, it's not a beautiful car but those pics on Autocar aren't particularly flattering:

The Nissan Juke however looks erm...interesting....

You guys do understand that the main market (and about 98% of sales of new ones) is people who know little about cars and car even less? It's bought be people who want a small reliable car and probably don't even notice what it looks like, never mind find it part of the buying decision. The new one is bland and that's exactly what I'd expect.
