The official I kinda suck at BFBC2 but play for the lolz thread

I'll be the first to admit that i'm pretty awful at BC2 but I enjoy playing. I can have awesome rounds where i'll be top killer and hardly any deaths, the next round I just get owned so bad.

I'd rank myself about 5/6 out of 10...I suck, but I play for the lolz :D
 
when I played mw online, i was lucky if I could get k:d 1:1. I never had a hope of getting top killer.

I'm probably about a 3/10 :D
 
I have some pretty good rounds and then follow up with some terrible ones, really terrible. Maybe I'm just getting too old to keep up with the youngsters.

Btw, how old is too old to be playing? :D
 
I usually sit around the middle to the top of the table, but sometimes have shocking rounds where I languish at the bottom with 23 deaths or whatever. You just gotta remember to have fun - even if you are getting owned, you can still enjoy the game.

Im currently trying to get the unlocks so instead of chosing the right kit for the right place I have to stick to engineer lol. Its not too bad but I do believe some people are "too good" due to shooting through walls or hitting you when your jumping and running with a sniper first shot. Stinks of cheating atm as its not a rare occurance either -.-
 
K/D ration means jack to me. I play for my own enjoyment, and even though I get killed a lot - hey its a war, what do you expect?

The game is much more fun for the teamwork and feeling of success at defending or attacking an objective while the bullets whizz around you.

Me and a mate (a forum member also) had some really good games earlier on the OcUK server. Both of us in the patriot tank thing basically killed the entire team whilst protecting the mcoms, both of us got silly scores from it as well :D
 
I must say, I got this game 2-3 weeks in, and at first felt like a complete noob. Having low rank is a killer against all these magnum ammo + good weapon setups, and then combine this with the fact that you're just learning the game. Luckily when you get the M60, things start to change and it becomes pretty easy topping the score board with med kits, rezzing, and m60 kills.
 
I'm finding it difficult, I was really enjoying it but when you are tubed for the 10th time it starts to wear thin. It funny though by the time the map ends their is barely an building left standing.

Does spotting not only work if you've got the recon spot kit or UAV?

I'm definately in the less than average category. My main issue is changing weapons quickly enough. My mouse wheel always seems to go to Med Kit/Ammo Kit/Defib when I try to select gun. The amount of times I've tried to kill someone with a box and failed is unreal.

As a result, I tend to get most kills with the noob tube which pee's a lot of people off but hey ho, you've got to play to the best of your ability!
