The official I kinda suck at BFBC2 but play for the lolz thread

My main problem is knowing the map and being aware of what is around you, because, without seeing your enemy on the radar, i'm a walking target.
 
The thing that annoys me the most in the whole game is being hit by either snipers, or worse still, tubers. Way to go chaps, while the rest of us are fighting you're fagging about in the bushes on the other side of the map.
 
as an engineer i get about 6000-7000 points at the end of the game

Im starting to play as medic, assault and rcon more offen
cant even reach 1000 points after 2 games :( so i play for the lulzs on rcon etc.

When i play as engineer its probably cause i got pi**ed of dieing.
 
Snipers need to get it out of their head that all they need to do in BC2 is hide behind a bush, rock, or camp inside the top level of a building, because that isn't your main job, and if you disagree with that, then why do you have c4 in your inventory? Whilst an Engineer is possibly using all his RPG ammo to destroy a tank, a sniper could contribute by applying c4 to the vehicle.

Whilst I can understand the noob-tube frustration, it's in the same category as Gustav, Granade and Mortar spamming IMO. With the Grenage upgrade and assault class, you can constantly lob grenades.

Whilst I don't fire RPG's from one end of the map to the other, the noob-tube certainly has it's place, particularly in Rush games where at some point you have to blast through a line of defence.

What gets me most is people gobbing off in-game about you noob-tubing them for them to then kill you 3 times with the 'tube before the round end.

I try and use gun as often as possible but you often don't have enough time to switch weapon, aim and fire.
 
I think i'm starting to get to grips with how the game works, but it did take a while. I mainly played medic to start with and levelled pretty quickly but healing/reviving, but this left me a bit short on how to kill stuff (until the m60 came along..).

Now i'm using assault a lot and hav got used to keeping in cover, using burst fire at the head and seem to be doing a lot better. I don't score as many points playing assault but it's good fun going for the m-com stations and flags, I like being offensive in this way.

Also nice to see PB kicking during games too.
 
I'm pretty rubbish too although over the last few rounds I have got a bit better

just learning the maps atm and fidning some places to camp
 
Just played on the Overclockers Squad Deathmatch server, managed to unlock the light machine gun for Medic and i'm doing way better now, i am also more aware of my surroundings as well. I finally managed a k/d ratio of 1.

Try to use the keyboard to switch it gets you the right result each time.
 
playing a medic is just ezmode lulz though, if you want a challange play assaulter man (i get stupidly happy every time i kill a douchebag medic with the M60 lol)

Yeah, this was more what I was getting at. I hate fighting my way through 5 or 6 guys only to get killed by some no ranker with a rocket launcher. It's frustrating.
 
MY k/d ratio is around 0.7...I was hovering around the 0.9 mark until I started playing medic properly. By properly I mean following my squad around, dropping helath packs for them, defribbing them when they die and not trying to get all the glory kills. I can get triple/quadruple the score by supporting them as a true medic as opposed to going on a killing rampage.
 
You don't suck try tabbing when you are getting owned more than likely it's 25 vs 7 is the same every server I go on team balance patch cant come soon enough.

I struggle in this game, at first I didn't like it but getting into it more and more. I like to keep all my upgrades uniform so I'm constantly switching between kits. Very irritating when the assault guys don't drop ammo kits for you when you're an engineer.

Also, how do you fire smoke and what not from the tank when you have that upgrade?
 
my gripes.
tubers. it sucks when you just get shot by some ******** assault guy who cant even fire a gun (yep that applies to all you people complaining about the m60 have you used the m14 yet?) and just sits over his own ammo pack spamming, i hate tubers more then gustavers because at least it takes a while to reload the gustav.
people complaingin about the m60. yep it is powerful, but its pretty much the only lmg that works (im using the xm8 thing at the moment with extra powerful med packs cos the m60 iron sights suck and thats the best i can come up with and id still rather use a pistol) the other lmgs have such a terrible spread theyre almost pointless.
people complaining about snipers. snipers only annoy me when you get some prat whos just gonna stay in one place the whole round and not contribute. snipers are great for getting people to keep their heads down.

personally i think its a really very well balanced game, it just annoys me when people take advantage of some of its eccentricites (tubers for example, in a proper squad game they have their place definitley)

i really wanna make a full team with ocukers and get some real teamwork going on! thast what wins games

i also wish you could use smoke and tubes as assualt but hey then everyone would be them (best way to deal with snipers is smoke)
