Same here.. my k/d is ~0.8, but I have ~30 Best Player pins. It's all about the paddle kills.. I have 17 now :P
 
yep q is important!
very very important!
as is tagging tanks and helis with the dart gun! (plz more medics do this! i can understand other classes wantign to keep the pistol but most medics can get away with it!)
 
I'm either amazing or crap.

Got about 7000ish points yesterday as a tank gunner and fixer, and then in another game defended an Mcom with 3 RPG shells, for everytime they went to disarm it (and not take me out first).

But on one map there was a whole squad of tubers in a bush acting like tards, then a squad of gustavs. Left those servers a bit annoyed. Couldn't even have fun as it was spawn. run. die. repeat.

I have become quite the specialist at C4 kamikazee missions though. x3 of those make one hell of a bang :D
 
I'm crap :D, I found it quite difficult coming from COD4 and playing this, plus not playing very much of the Battlefield series before, but I'm getting there.

I do really enjoy it though :)

You're not playing the game correctly if the Q on your keyboard hasn't worn down yet :p

I reassigned mouse4 (thumb) to knife, much easier than trying to middle-click and accidentally changing to medkit instead!
 
I seem to be one of those people that either do great or crap, I know I could get better scores if I was playing as a medic but I have all of the weapons unlocked so I am trying to avoid it atm. I've been working on learning recon and engineer and I think I'm starting to get the hang of them (mines are so much easier that rockets). I need to use assault more but I find that when I am playing as other classes there are never ammo packs around, and when I do play as it there are ammo packs lying everywhere.

I've since re-assigned it but this had led to running up to multiple people and pressing Q when I wanted to stab them :o
 
I was on a roll yesterday with the sniper rifle, unlocked the one up from the first rifle, and i kept getting headshots listed, a few were when i was running across the map, quite chuffed with myself.

I chose the Recon class for the first time yesterday after ending up with an evil sniper Nemesis. I spawned and facepalmed as I realised I was weilding a puny Steryr Scout looking thing from CS. Unloaded like 4x shots into my enemy sniper's head with no effect. I then lost my rag and charged across the map and knifed him :D I then got run over by a nutter on a quad :o
 
The starter recon rifle is one of the best sniper rifles available, the only problem you will have starting off is that you don't have access to the improved rifle scopes.
 
Yip you guessed it l suck, but l just keep going back for a bigger butt kicking because its just agreat game to play. l must have a big hand pointing down at me saying "here he is, shoot him" lol.

But what makes it harder is the size of some of the maps , if you see a lone figure running, stopping, running stopping , its just me stopping and grasping for air > totaly unfit > 55yrs old lol. Stop and give me a lift or a hand with my kit

For just now l have ago at everything, its just great fun, love the graphics, sound etc. Bring it on, but have learnt one thing if theres a Demo play it, you'll have a head start on the players who start to play when the game is released!!!!!

Well see you on the Battlefeild remember "Heads Down, Butt UP" for another butt kicking session :D imao.

ROFL :p

The dart gun is an unlocks that replaces the pistol.. it fires a tracer dart onto enemy infantry and vehicles, allowing your team to lock onto the target with rocket launchers. Search youtube for BFBC2 Tracer Dart to see how to use it - it's much easier to see someone else do it than figure it out yourself at first!
 
As above, I'm pretty crap but am still loving it. Getting pretty ****ed off with every else having the decent unlocks and I'm still stuck on the crap weapons.
 
What servers are people playing on from here? and what newbie games should i be playing? Ive been into online FPS since year dot, but im finding this game real hard!! Fun though :)
