I decided to get Crystaldiskmark to see how my drives would do, and to find my c drive is the slowest of them all. Would i find a huge gain in performance from a SSD?

Yes you would find a huge gain in performance with an ssd.

Where your hdd is majorly let down is in the 4k read/writes.

An ssd would obliterate it. :)

not only that but it's the practically zero latency.

Yeh, I tested the D Drive at 100mb and got pretty much same scores as before, so it didn't change anything just how long it took to do.

this is my samsung f3

Well I run 2 F3 500 in raid 0 so maybe won't be such a good guide but it's not twice the speed of one drive..
Against the slightly under preforming 6Gb ssd I have

the top one is ssd

OP, those are pretty average if it's a single drive. I'm getting the results below with my two old WD2500AAKS drives (RAID 0):

4532a960

I think it's time I bought a SSD, or a couple of nice single platters considering single drives can outperform my array now .
