What shifts do you do at work?

I hate shift work, use to do 6am-2pm one week 2pm-10pm other week, its crap and just has no routine, work part time but cant wait to work 8-6 mon-fri and have weekends off

This week I have a mixture of 6.30am-2.30pm and 6.30am-11.30am, but this has been since last Wednesday, no day off until this Saturday then I have 3 days off :D

No shifts but I tend to do 07:00-16:00, if I want to leave at 16:00 then I have to be in by 08:00. Whist those who don't want to be in until 10:00 have to stay until 18:00.

Currently on 8am til 4 or 5pm depending on demand, plus either a 24hr shift saturday, or 9-9 night shift sat night most weekends

In the UK a three week cycle of Mon - Thu 0730-1630, Tues - Fri 0730-1630 and Mon - Thurs 1630-0230 with at least one weekend on call a month.

Overseas it varies greatly depending on where I am and what role I'm performing, but anything up to 24/7.

06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. 5 shifts over 7 days. It works out I work 2 weekends then have 2 weekends off. Far from ideal but I would probably lose £3-4 a hour if I went to work somewhere with 'normal' hours. My work is 4 miles away and, because of the times, there's no traffic so it's an 8 hour shift with very little travelling time.

I hate hours at my current employer, 8.30am-5.30pm with 1h for lunch. The day drags and drags and drags, I was 10000x better doing 8-4 with my previous employer.

Week 1 - 9am - 5pm Mon to Fri
Week 2 - 5pm - 9am Mon to Thurs then Fri 5pm until 9am following Monday. On Out of Hours cover, work from home and on average only get 3-4 calls a night!
Week 3 - 9am - 5pm Tues to Fri

Quite like my shifts :D

Two days, two nights and three off (not four as is commonly believed, unless working the first eight hours of the day is a day off).

Dayshift - 8am to 6pm
Nightshift - 6pm to 8am

This changes at weekends due to the unavailability of public transport in the early morning.

Saturday nightshift - 6pm to 10am
Sunday dayshift - 10am to 6pm
