the games great but a month on and snipers need to be nerfed to get it more team based and im already wanting the need for wake island.
Nice to see some recognition for the server admins! They did a great job getting these servers off the ground and between them pretty much cater for the entire of OcUKs needs.

Thanks for the message tho, I’l relay that on to our server admins! Nice to see peoples support tho, we;ve had so much negativity pointed our way and nice to see people are finally seeing that we are working hard to get the servers working correctly!
Aww playing BC2 yesterday screen goes black, sounds continue. Restart computer and screen says no signal .. 99% sure graphics is dead having tested the monitor and it being fine. Any of you guys can let me know what settings I could expect to run BC2 on with rig in sig and a 5850 at 1440x900 and 1900x1200? Also is there likely to be any 5850s on the members market yet or are they too new? Also is 600W high amp PSU sufficient for my pc with a 5850?

I replaced a card after something like that recently, but it turned out to be my monitor - before you splash out on a new card, try connecting to the monitor via a vga cable, if you have one, with a DVI adaptor. My monitor had gotten stuck at a higher refresh rate and for some reason this knocked it back into sync. I was able to connect again afterwards with a DVI cable and it was fine.

I'm considering picking this up. How casual friendly is it? and does anyone know if getting the limited edition will make much difference and if so, does anyone know of a place with stock? I've not seen it anywhere, but I doubt it will impact the game much.

I've read into it a fair bit and quad only won out at resolutions up to 1680x1050. Once you get to 1920 or higher the differences between quad and dual were actually zero.
This was when at similar clock settings - the review I saw that finally 'clinched' it had comparisons at everything from 3.0ghz up to about 3.7ghz on dual and quad (both 45nm wolfdales).
Still, it'll be interesting to see how it goes
