What do people think?

Personally I'm undecided, on the one hand it looks striking and memorable, but on the other it looks like a collapsed scaffolding :p

they should build a building with a sculpture around it, and then sell off sections inside it to developers, it will look good, and have a purpose after the Olympics have finished

I apologise in advance for the stars but...

The **** is this ****?

That is, without a doubt, the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.

Wow. I think it's epic having listened to Anish Kapoor talking about it. Also involves Cecil Balmond, looks modern, what's not too like? My only concern is the amount of steel to be used. And I hope it's got a lift.

Is it to hold the flame?
Or simply a standalone aspect?

Hard to tell for a single ange rendering, I'd like to see a 3d modelling that one can spin around and look at it from angles, looks overengineered, and randomly detailed.
Hard to know what to think of it thus far.
Will it be removed after the games, or stand as a monument to the games fro many years after (10 years as it'll be too expensive to maintain when it rusts, and they'll never think of making it from something durable)

Have you viewed the BBC video interview?

What the **** is that?

They should have had a public vote on having the 2012 Olympics in the UK/London. Nice way to waste even more of our money on a waste of time.
