turn off smart fan in bios

Smart fan was turned off and yet the fans still dont go at full speed all the time
what else can i try, by the way the all the fans except the CPU fan are connected directly into the power if that makes any difference

does the fans have heat sensors?

urm im guessing not, they are just cheap LED fans - not too sure about the ones that came with the case though

if the fans are connected directly into the psu and have no heat sensors they should run full speed all the time

how come the temps are so low, with just around 30mins or so on X3 Terran Conflict maxed out i hit 47c on TMPIN0 what is the difference between the 965be and the 955be?

looking more closely it seems TMPIN0 is the Motherboard while TMPIN1 is the CPU?
but on mine on Everest the Motherboard is 25c but on HWM TMPIN0 is 32c - how does that work? and why does yours stat CPU when on mine with Everest it doesnt

it's different for different motherboards

so the TMPIN0 and 1 will be different for each motherboard, um didnt know that thanks.
why is yours 11c cooler then mine when yours is on FULL 100% each core load, mine hit 47c on the TMPIN0 while playing X3 Terran Conflict Max or should i be trying Prime and compare the 2 after that?

don't forget i have a different case and heatsink..

the difference between the 965be and the 955be is the stock speed.

i mean i have ALL fans going and everything so it shouldnt really be that should it?

what Fan do you have? isnt it that HUGE thing? that i am pretty sure wouldnt fit in my case. do you think 47c with 30mins of maxed out gaming on X3 Terran Conflict is a decent temp? am i worrying too much?

i was running prime.

gaming won't max out the cpu.

That makes it even worse!
if theres a 11c difference now, god knows what would happen should i run Prime or something that maxes out the CPU

You must have a REALLY good case and fan!
maybe i should think about getting a better CPU cooler?

airflow and heatsink does cause that much of a temp difference

i have a Thermalright Ultra-120A heastsink with 2 120mm fans on it
