The official I kinda suck at BFBC2 but play for the lolz thread

Did you go straight into hardcore...it can be a little daunting without crosshairs the first time, took me a while to get used to iron sight firing after the console like MW2 spray and pray method.

Only good things about hardcore opposed to regular for me is less shots to kill, no minimap and no killcam...that said, i've played HC so much I get completely owned on regular.

Don't think so I still had crosshairs. I think I need to look at joining a specific server rather than the random one I was on this morning.

So hitting Q when an assualt drops ammo and when a medic drops a medic kit? Now I know why my team were following me around everywhere!

Is it best to stick with your team or wander around on your own?

hit Q when you spot an enemy in your sights gets you points.
staying with your team is better if your a med and stay behind a bit you can defib the killed ones and keep it goin.

If the rest of your team are holding the line with everyone else, just nip round the outside, and start working your way from where the line of enemies is and pick them off one by one with a LMG. Good for 7-9 kills, depending on how fast they spot you,

I am a noob at this game, but I love it. I have the occasional moments where I totally kick ass (like the time I took out an entire squad in under 4 seconds, or knifed 7 people in a row in the space of 30 seconds), but generally, I suck. I do however, appreciate it when someone does something as stupid as me. Last night I ran up to a tank to C4 it, out popped the gunner to take me out, but instead of shooting, he threw an ammo box at me. While I swapped to shotgun, he just stood here looking at his ammo box as if it had grown legs while I put a couple rounds in his chest, then blew his mate up in the tank. I was chuckling for ages at the WTF look I just know was on his face IRL.

I only got the game last night and had my first shot this morning and by god I was awful.

Played a game, not even truly sure what I was doing except trying to kill people but I spent time wandering round getting the unmentionables shot off me every time I moved. I died 15 times and got 0 kills lol

Bout to log on now, hopefully I will have a wee bit more luck this time

Yup, you end up getting a mentally high point score at the end of it as well due to the healing and defibs lol. The m60 + 4xscope + magnum ammo needs toning down though! Can quite literally snipe with it if you tap the trigger as the first shot goes exactly where you put the crosshair every time.

Medic has 1 more unlock for me then I've got them all and have to start working on the stars

Team stacking and base raping in conquest were the reason i sold my copy, a shame because i liked it to begin with.

Yes you can, attack the mcoms and win easy (safe) points, when your new and have o unlocks. You certainly couldn't do it in bf2.

This was the first game that I've played online for more than a few times and to begin with I struggled a lot. My mates showed me how to play the squad game properly and it suddenly came alive. It's much more rewarding and fun to play it like that rather than being obsessed with your KD ratio, which as you can imagine, mines pants!

Worryingly though, I think I'm getting a little addicted!

Edit; the server that I help out with moderating now has an auto balance system that doesn't always work but is great when it does. Sadly it seems to of reduced the traffic on the server, as has enabling PB. Just goes to show how many looser cheaters there are around.

I got this on the day of release. I find the game to be quite easy now that I know all the Maps.

When I first started I just used the Thompson because it was a free unlock or something due to it being collectors edition. It's a pretty good gun I played as engineer and ranked up pretty easily.

I think its because I used to play BF2 a lot and thats a harder game than this though the style is the same.
