Cancer free for 366 days!

Made me happy just to read the thread topic. My Dad and a friend of mine both had prostate cancer and they have both been clear for a long while now (7 years and 3 years).

Great to hear mate.

My dad has it, had it for years. Keeps going away and then coming back with a vengeance. Thought it had hit his lymph system but seems like it was a scare. Nonetheless, he's told me that he expects to drop dead at any minute. He's quit his job, sold his house and is now living the good life all over the World.
My mum had bowel cancer but that got sorted out after a few years. It's a horrible illness, I'm very glad that you're all clear and that it hasn't affected you too much!

I want to reiterate the point that people get down to their doctors for a check-up as soon as possible! 20 minutes of feel uncomfortable to prevent years of agony has to be a great tradeoff!
 
This is awesome news :) You must be very very thankful that you can hold your head up and say you have beaten cancer :)
 
Glad to hear your well, Contemplating getting the test myself as my grandad had prostate cancer a few years ago (although is clear of it now), Also it's just a blood test isnt it?
