On the topic of RPGs though... is it just me or is the 'Vehicle Damage' thing completely broken now? You shoot Tanks and get nothing for it, then someone else gets the last hit and blows it up. Or you blow it up and don't get the Damage bonus like you normally do.

I'm surprised tbh - I've not used it for ages as it annoys me too much now.

They really should boost the power of rpg vs tanks and reduce it vs infantry. that'd keep people happy.

It should do reduced damage unless you're the other side of a wall. It says bunker buster, atm its a bunker buster, face buster, tank buster, aircraft buster, MG buster, sniper rifle and all around 1 hit kill weapon.

RPG is *** imo... at least it would be if the Gustav wasn't so stupidly overpowered.

i never use the rpg for infantry, just the gustav;), it work wonders against spawning enemy in your area:D
 
lol at the "gustav is anti tank only" comments :-/ Why should players have to look through servers to find one which plays with the rules the game was made with? It is annoying being kicked for stupid reasons... 'Spamming' gustavs is a perfectly valid tactic... Although it is hardly 'spamming' if you are hitting 100%

Infact cant be bothered going through this thread but, Do i remember one of these server admins talking about monitoring people spamming these weapons ?


No swearing disguised or not! thing ruins the game.

The OcUK server is noob central atm frankly. Nearly everytime i've been on it recently it seems to be full of people spamming noob tubes or gustavs and team stacking and the hitreg is laughable atm as i'm not the only 1 to point out.
 
the gustav for me is killign the game. almost to the point were im just going to wait until they sort it out.
i personally refuse to use ti because it makes me feel dirty. same way as i wont use the m60 anymore.
i do use the tube but only because you kinda have to as assault otherwise you just cant last

and i agree with the ocuk server being noob central. on there today and man it was boring just, slam gustav, slam tube, slam gustav, slam gustav ooh a gun fight, then some **** jumps in and slam gustav

I gave everyone on the server multiple warnings - basically "play rather than moan or get kicked". Anyone that chose to ignore those multiple warnings was kicked.

To be honest, veiled insults aimed at other server admins won't be tolerated either.

The obsession will pass soon enough. I've personally moved on to the m16 with 4x scope or the medic 249 for an old favourite.

I'll mention it to the GSP and see if they can say anything about it.

Once again I'd be able to track the problem down far easier myself if we didn't have to go through GSPs for our servers :/
 
I was on the BFBC2 server earlier, and to be frank, it was the worst bunch of games I have experienced with this game thus far. The gustov and tube spam was unbearable at times... I have played on this server a handful of times and it's generally been fine so hopefully it's not like this all the time.

The shotgun has been really weird recently. I swear its registering even less than normal these last few days, i've all but given up using it. At long range it never hits anymore and at close its got a habit of missing even direct shots. Other times it just doesn't kill in 1 shot like it damn well should.

Point blank in the face of my enemy and i got knifed i was like :eek: shotgun is my favourite weapon but its losing its devastation :p
