Lian Li X900

that is such a cool case, Too big for me though, Only if they do the little sister version of it, I would buy it

I want!!!!!!!! looking to upgrade my cm690. i want something that has some build quality, will never use coolermaster again.

If you fit a triple radiator in the front, then it looks like there will be no room for the hard drive rack. Is there somewhere else the hard drives could go?

There's a triple HDD cage in the top section ( in front of the fan )

Silent Performance

The fans are mounted with Lian Li’s anti-vibration fan mounting system; the rubber ring grommet absorbs the vibration, keeping the case silent.

Made me laugh, so basically none it's just a 1p rubber washer on the screw lol.
Nice case though I am a fan of the chambers idea on cases like this and others.

And what is with all the manu's making such a big deal lately over 5.25 screwless mounting systems ? it's not like we need to hot swap dvd drives or even change or remove them much.

Surely most people probably have 1 dvd drive (2 at most?) and that is it and put it in once and never have to remove it again, it's a total waste of money imo and they should stop doing it to keep costs down or put the money on something more uselful in a case.

I just don't understand the thinking behind having 5 or 6 x 5.25 " screwless mounting systems " being something which customers require from a case.

And the funny thing with Lian Li's screwless mounting system is, it only clamps the optical drive on one side, had to put a few screws on the other side to fully secure the drive. Though on this X900, i really like the black internals, shame they dont offer this across the range.

Really ? so there's no shelf on the right hand sides ? that is pretty funny if true

There is a shelf for the drive, however, notice in this pic., the top two 5.25 bays feature the screwless clamps on one side.

None fitted on the opposite side.

Using just the clamp alone might have led to vibrations from my blu ray drive, hence i had to use screws on the right hand side, i wish theyd either offer clamps on both sides, or just dont bother with any.

This case plus this radiator up in front.

Swiftechs MCR Drive, 120.3 rad, pump and reservoir in one. Naice. Probably use Swiftech blocks aswell.

No worries really they are pretty pointless anyway if you ask me rather they scrap them and put the money saved in to a superior hard drive solution.

Because without these marketing gimmicks most cases don't have anything to go for them...
Which is exactly the truth.
(same for HDD hot swapping, just in how many home PC that's usefull?)
