If it's getting in your way and CBA to MOT it, send me an email and I'll arrange to have it taken away!

How very generous of you to offer to take his car off him for free so you can resell it for the £1000 or so its probably worth ;)

OP: MOT it yourself and get some money.

Read up - I'll buy it off him.

112k miles isnt a lot for a Honda btw, sometimes people assume anything over 3 figures means its time to get rid but thats just a bit too general

What would recommend I do. I want rid of it this week ideally.

If you want to then carry on but what are you replacing it with

Maz I just sent you a quick email to your hotmail address in trust.

hopefully you get this and can respond quick :)

well I just opted to get rid asap, 100 quid in my pocket. Such a shame really but due to lack of time and need of space it had to go.

Started and drove perfectly. Forgot how nice it was to drive compared to my little pug bad boy lol

100 quid ?
Whoever got it got a bargain . Would be absolutely chuffed with a 98 accord with such a low mileage for 100 quid, dent in door or not...

Unless you scrapped it in which case such a shame :(.

yeah mate ya missed it.

im peeved about it to be honest. but I just needed rid.

It was a good car but I dont live up here and didnt need hassle.

I guess the fact that they signed the V5 means they have to scrap it?

edit : yeah i sold it for scrap, I honestly didnt like doing that, but I couldnt spend money on it to get it through MOT. Tax woulda been 100 quid + and people are funny about buying big old cars these days anyway.

Was a great first car though. RIP :D

Yeah its mad but Im going back down South on saturday. My mother wants it out of the way because its hindering her plans for the yard.

I paid 900 for it a few year back, its definately worth more than 100 quid, but I dont have the time to sell off parts and Id asked a few people if they wanted it but they didnt want hassle of MOT - Tax etc either.

I have to buy new tyres for my peugeot and I sure cant afford to spend money on the honda aswell as the pug. So selling the honda fast for cash in hand means I can pay for me tyres.

I definately agree its mad, but in my circumstance its the easiest option :(

Sounds like a case of time is money and this isnt a rare situation. Ive seen better cars then this go for similar, twin cam 130bhp Honda for about the same money and not even a dent in the door or low mot just a lady owner wanting to get rid of it asap because her drive way had space for 1 car and she'd been given a new one.

Always stuff like this available if your quick imo

I was going to suggest 200 was a reasonable estimate from what I heard but didnt want to butt in

I was gonna give you lot more money than that for it, but whats done is done!

Ah well, nothing like kicking a man when hes down hahaha

edit : and yeah silver surfer its just a case of needing it out of the way. I probably shoulda been more patient with regards to maz but getting it out of my way while I had today free was just an easy option.

Its regrettable, but I aint got cash or time to MOT it.
