Well that'd be easy. You can't use LMGs and RPGs together, he gets LMGs and C4 and RPGs and... i guess the all kit stuff :p

Will be a bit slow and possibly frustrating to start with, as most of the starting kit is quite naff.

But once you start to unlock some of the perks and even the playing field then you have yourself a good multiplayer shooter. The single player isn't that scrubby either for an evening of gaming.

Sure it has bugs, quite a few infact.. but that does not take away what a good game it is.. if it were bug free and had just a little more work done to it with weapon balances, server patches and other niggles like the server browser list, I'd put it as my favorite game played for a very very long time.

Is your server Multiplay one? I'm looking for way to go back to R8 and I'm with Multiplay. My server has been empty since release of R9 :(
 
Love the game but am becoming increasingly frustrated by the fact that I disconnected from EVERY single game. It's rare I complete a round before being disconnected! VERY annoying.
 
Just thought i'd pop onto the OcUK server for a change, valparaiso map...all I had was 5 immediate spawn kills, enemy team sitting on our spawn with a tank, not fun at all...also extremely gay...back to TFU I go.

I was trying the unlocks after the M60 last night and they are all utterly useless lol. When you naturally aim at someones head you want the first round to go where your aiming and on every gun past the M60 it doesn't do this :(

Plus the damage goes down on every gun after it as well which is daft.

I raised ticket with Multiplay and this is what they wrote:

At this point in time we are unable to offer rollbacks to R8. With the way our system works, we would need to change every server, or none. It is therefore a management level decision.

EA/DICE understand the issues with R9 and are working to get R10 released as soon as possible, hopefully within the next few days.

It forces punkbuster to only change on/off during server restart, meaning that a server has to display punkbuster as on if it's on.
The server browser by default has punkbuster check the wrong way round, so the if someone searches for PB serevrs, R9 serevrs don't show up.

There's a work around in R8 where you can run PB, but make it look 'off' to the browser.
 
didn't the server browser use to automatically tick pb?

Why haven't they changed it back now they've fixed the pb problem?
